Two years ago I was in ICU on life support. Today I walked across that stage with my new heart beating strong in my chest.
To my donor's family: I wish you could see this moment. I wish you could know that your loved one's heart carried me through late-night study sessions, thesis panic, and now this incredible achievement. This diploma belongs to both of us.
