This seat belt cover is made for the comfort of the seat belt being next to your neck. If you are like me, the seat belt is right against your neck so is very uncomfortable in the car and I need to always hold it away from my skin! If you would like a more protective pillow that is actually designed to help protect the incision area while in the car, you would want to order the small seat belt pillow instead. This seat belt cover is not for heart protection in the car.

We do suggest for the first few weeks after surgery that you use one of our wrap around pillows, (find over 50 designs in our store with a link below) but this is good for when a big wrap around is no longer needed. At this time, you will want protection in the car from your seat belt crossing over your incision.
